Memorial Day Fun

Memorial Day isn't even here yet and we've already had tons of fun.  We drove to Birmingham and back yesterday to go to the Vandy semi-final SEC baseball game.  We won and the kids made it to the 9th inning and we managed to get seats in the shade so it was a good day!

Poor Tyler Bear got his first sunburn today.  We went to Nashville Shores (first of many times I am sure, since we got season passes) and applied sunscreen before we got there and while we were there, but he still has red shoulders.  He kept telling me that his "elbow hurts" but pointed to his shoulder and once we clarified the body part we realized that he unfortunately, got a little too much sun today.  We applied some aloe and will wear a swim shirt tomorrow if we go back out. 

This afternoon we played in the backyard once we got home, and grilled some hot dogs, burgers, and corn.  The kids also got push-ups and played in the sand table, which both made made them a big mess.  Katie loves to dance to our ipod songs and was having a blast jamming out!
