It has been a beautiful first day of Fall. We celebrated by meeting some friends out at Bowie Park and when they had to leave (their kids actually still nap - lucky, lucky) we had a picnic and then went on a little hike and then got to feed the ducks and geese. Tyler took this picture of all of our "friends." He had all of them identified and was trying to avoid the one he called the "speedy mean one" and tried to make sure the baby duck who is a "good sharer" got all bread!
They have been surprisingly sweet to each other today. Tyler was cold at swim lessons and Katie was hugging him to get him warm, and then they were sitting on the side waiting to jump in and Katie started to rub Tyler's back and tell him it would be OK ( he still doesn't want to go under or jump in) and then he gave her a big hug and said thank you Katie and went in (still didn't get his head under though). When I actually had a camera, though, they were just being silly.
